Our on-grid Powershacks, (utility net metered), have to meet 2 criteria before they get the lable "Powershacks". Our design team can qualify the house with an E.P.A Energy Star or have a renewable energy system augment the house. (Wind,Solar or Hydro) Either way, having an "Powershack" ensures year's of super efficient production. These self sustaining homes have the ability to produce a portion of it's own energy, or it is designed in such a way that it uses a fraction of the other homes in the neighborhood. This gives it a much higher value, and your retirement years are easier on your pocketbook.
